AIIMS Raipur Inaugurates Cutting-Edge AI Lab to Transform Healthcare Services
In a significant move to integrate advanced technology into the medical field, AIIMS Raipur has officially launched an Artificial Intelligence (AI) Lab and Deployment Centre. The facility was inaugurated on Saturday during the 'AI in Healthcare Conclave' held in Raipur, bringing together experts from medicine, technology, and research sectors to discuss the future of digital healthcare.
Collaborative Efforts for Medical Innovation
The AI lab operates under SRIJAN, the bio-innovation wing of AIIMS Raipur, and is established in collaboration with the IIT Indore DRISHTI CPS Foundation. This strategic partnership aims to harness the power of artificial intelligence to develop innovative tools for diagnostics, healthcare management, and predictive analytics. During the conclave, faculty members from both institutions presented joint projects that showcase the potential of AI in improving medical outcomes.

Prof Suhas S Joshi, Director of IIT Indore, reviewed the presented projects and provided valuable technical feedback. He emphasized that IIT Indore will offer the necessary technical support and collaboration to ensure these AI-driven innovations translate into practical healthcare solutions. In his keynote address titled 'AI in Digital Healthcare', Prof Joshi elaborated on how partnerships between medical and technical institutes can significantly enhance healthcare accessibility and efficiency.
