The age limit for Technician Grade I Signal is set between 18 and 33 years, while for Technician Grade III, it is between 18 and 30 years, calculated as of 01 July 2026. The pay levels are Level 5 with an initial salary of Rs 29,200 for Grade I Signal and Level 2 with Rs 19,900 for Grade III. Age relaxation will be applicable as per government norms.
Application Fee and Process
The application fee for General, OBC, and EWS categories is Rs 500, while SC, ST, and PWD candidates are required to pay Rs 250. All payments must be made online through the official application portal. Candidates must ensure accuracy of personal details and Aadhaar linkage before submission, as only one application per Pay Level is permitted.
Selection Process and Instructions
The selection process will consist of a Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by document verification and a medical examination. Candidates may apply to only one RRB per Pay Level and must verify that their Aadhaar details match their Class 10 certificates. The application window opens on 30 June 2026 and closes on 29 July 2026. The examination date will be announced later by the Railway Recruitment Boards.
