The first edition of IGNITE 2026 – Innovation and Growth in Next-Gen Intelligent Technology and Engineering, a three-day international conference jointly organized by KJ’s Educational Institutes KJ College of Engineering and Management Research (KJCOEMR) and IEEE Pune Section, was inaugurated on Wednesday in Pune.
Technical Sessions and Expert Discussions
The conference featured technical sessions, paper presentations, and expert panel discussions focusing on next-generation intelligent technologies, engineering innovations, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and sustainable development. The event provided a platform for international collaboration and knowledge exchange among researchers, academicians, and industry professionals.
Inaugural Address by Dr P K Sinha
Dr P K Sinha, former vice-chancellor and director of the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Naya Raipur, inaugurated the conference. In his address, he emphasized the need for students to develop a research-oriented mindset and adapt to the rapidly changing technological landscape. He encouraged young engineers to focus on innovation and contribute to solving real-world problems.
Call for Innovation from Kalyan Jadhav
Kalyan Jadhav, founder-president of KJ Educational Institute, highlighted the immense opportunities for researchers and innovators in areas such as energy, transportation, water management, pollution, and urban infrastructure. He urged young engineers to create solutions that not only advance technology but also improve the quality of life for society at large.
