The Central Bank of India has officially released a notification for the engagement of apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for the financial year 2026–27. A total of 4,500 training seats will be filled across India through this recruitment drive. The online registration process is scheduled to commence on 12 June 2026 and will remain open until 22 June 2026. The online examination is expected to be conducted in the first week of July 2026.
Selection Process
According to the bank, selection will be based on an online test conducted by BFSI SSC, followed by a test of the local language of the respective state. Candidates must also clear document verification and meet medical fitness requirements before final engagement.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university. The age limit is between 20 and 28 years as of 31 May 2026. Age relaxation will be provided for SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and other reserved categories as per government norms.
Apprenticeship Details
The apprenticeship duration is 12 months. Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000. The bank has clarified that apprentices will not be entitled to any additional allowances or guaranteed permanent employment after training completion. A state-wise distribution of seats has also been released.
Exam Pattern
The selection process includes a 100-mark online objective test covering general financial awareness, quantitative aptitude, reasoning, computer knowledge, English, and banking products and services. There will be no negative marking in the exam.
Language Proficiency
Candidates applying for a particular state must be proficient in the local language of that state. Those who have studied the local language in Class 10 or 12 will be exempted from the language test.

- Log in and search for the “Central Bank of India Apprenticeship 2026–27” opportunity.
- Note down your Enrolment ID generated by the NATS portal for future use.
- You will receive a communication from BFSI SSC on your registered email to complete the next step.
- Register on the BFSI SSC portal at beep.bfsissc.com.
- Fill in all required details and upload required documents as per instructions.
- Pay the application fee online.
- Submit the final application form carefully and download/print a copy for reference.
