Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) declared the results of the SSC and Intermediate public examinations on Friday. The examinations were conducted between May 25 and June 2, 2026. A total of 16,869 candidates appeared for the SSC examinations, of whom 11,822 cleared the tests, registering a pass percentage of 70.08%. In Intermediate, 28,181 candidates appeared and 21,038 passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 74.65%.
Girls Outperform Boys in Both Exams
Girls outperformed boys in both courses. In SSC, the pass percentage among girls stood at 73.36% compared to 67.35% among boys. In Intermediate, girls recorded a pass percentage of 76.18%, while boys registered 73.75%.
Top and Bottom Performing Districts
Anantapur district emerged as the top performer in SSC with a pass percentage of 90.22%, followed closely by Vizianagaram (90%) and Tirupati (89.17%). NTR district recorded the lowest SSC pass percentage at 34.03%. In Intermediate, Kakinada topped the state with an 86.59% pass rate, while West Godavari stood at the bottom with 48.15%.
Improvement Over Five Years
The results also indicate a steady improvement in performance over the past five years. SSC pass percentage rose from 66.76% in 2025 to 70.08% this year, while Intermediate pass percentage increased from 66.73% to 74.65% during the same period.
How to Check Results
Students can access their results through the APOSS website, WhatsApp-based Mana Mitra service, and DigiLocker. Printed marks memos will be available at respective study centres after June 30. Candidates seeking recounting or verification of answer scripts can apply through AP Online centres or the payment gateway between June 22 and June 30.
