Renault has officially launched the 2026 Triber in India, bringing a host of updates to its popular 7-seater MPV. The new model features a refreshed design, enhanced connectivity, and improved safety features, while maintaining its competitive pricing strategy.
Exterior and Interior Updates
The 2026 Triber sports a revised front fascia with a new grille, updated LED headlamps, and a redesigned bumper. The side profile gets new alloy wheels, while the rear features updated taillights. Inside, the cabin receives a new dashboard layout with a larger 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The seats are upholstered in a new fabric, and the second-row seats now offer a tumble-down function for easier access to the third row.
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the Triber continues with the 1.0-liter three-cylinder petrol engine, producing 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox. Renault claims a fuel efficiency of 19 kmpl for the manual version and 18.5 kmpl for the AMT.
Features and Safety
Key features include a cooled glovebox, rear AC vents, a multi-function steering wheel, and a digital instrument cluster. Safety has been upgraded with dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and a reverse camera now standard across all variants. Higher trims also get side airbags and electronic stability control.
Pricing and Variants
The 2026 Triber is offered in four variants: RXE, RXL, RXT, and RXZ. Prices start at Rs 5.99 lakh for the base RXE and go up to Rs 8.95 lakh for the top-end RXZ AMT. The new model is available at Renault dealerships across India.
With these updates, the Triber aims to strengthen its position in the competitive MPV segment, offering a compelling package of space, features, and value for money.
