Steve Stasiak of Book Pro Wrestlers announced on social media that Daniel Moody, known in wrestling circles as DJ Pringle, has died. Moody was an independent wrestler who performed in Gulf Coast promotions, carrying forward his father's legacy while establishing his own identity in the ring.
"Daniel Moody, known to many in wrestling as DJ Pringle, has passed away," Stasiak wrote. "Daniel was the son of Paul Bearer — a man whose voice, presence, and character became part of wrestling history forever. And like so many second-generation names, Daniel carried that connection with him, while also being his own person in the wrestling world."
A Family History Marked by Loss
This latest death represents the final chapter in a series of family tragedies for the Moody family. WWE legend Paul Bearer, whose real name was William Moody, passed away in 2013 at age 58. His wife, Dianna Moody, had died four years earlier in 2009. The couple's other son, Michael Moody, passed away in 2014 at just 34 years old.
With Daniel Moody's passing, there are no remaining immediate family members from Paul Bearer's direct line. The legendary manager had been survived by only one family member for years, and now that connection has been severed.

Both Daniel and his brother Michael made appearances in WWE, most notably during the 2013 WWE Hall of Fame ceremony where they accepted the posthumous induction honor for their father. Paul Bearer was recognized as one of the most memorable and gothic figures in wrestling history.
Paul Bearer rose to prominence as the manager of legendary WWE superstars The Undertaker and Kane, playing a pivotal role in their storied feud throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. His last WWE television appearance occurred in 2012 during a segment with Kane.
