Mitch Evans and Antonio Felix da Costa Share Plans for Sanya E-Prix

Speaking ahead of the Sanya E-Prix, Mitch Evans said, "Monaco was a strong weekend for us, and it’s great to head into Sanya with good momentum and a championship lead. I’ve raced here once before, and it’s a fun, challenging track, so I’m looking forward to getting back on it. The championship fight is tight, so the focus is on executing cleanly and keeping the points coming."

Sharing his excitement, Antonio Felix da Costa said, "I’m excited to race in China again. I’ve had great results here in the past, and I really enjoy the atmosphere. We showed strong pace in Monaco, even with some drama along the way, so the goal now is to build on that and put together a solid weekend. It’s my first race in the country with the Jaguar TCS Racing team too, so I’m looking forward to seeing what we can do together."

Jaguar TCS Racing has claimed four wins and four additional podium finishes in the last eight races. This has propelled the team to the top of the Teams’ Standings and Mitch Evans to the top of the Drivers’ World Championship. Meanwhile, Jaguar currently sits second in the Manufacturers’ Standings. Evans recently won one of the Monaco races, while da Costa also finished on the podium in the other race.

Team Principal Ian James said, "We arrive in Sanya in a strong position, but we’re under no illusions about how competitive this championship is. The team has worked incredibly hard to put us where we are, and the aim is to continue that consistency as we start the Asian leg. Both drivers have shown great pace and resilience, and we’re focused on delivering another well-executed weekend."

The Sanya E-Prix begins on 19 June with practice sessions, while the race is scheduled for 20 June.
