A tragic incident occurred in Jamania village under Bhikangaon police station limits in Khargone district on Sunday, where a 15-year-old boy lost his life after being pulled under a rotavator attached to a tractor. The deceased has been identified as Someshwar.

According to Bhikangaon police station in-charge Neeraj Sarwan, the boy was hit by a tractor, lost his balance, and fell. He was then pulled under the moving rotavator attached to the tractor, sustaining fatal injuries and dying on the spot.
Background of the incident
Reports indicate that Someshwar's uncle, Kanhaiya Kartar, had taken a field belonging to villager Prem Mallu on a lease-share basis. A tractor and rotavator had been hired for cultivation work. The accident occurred when Someshwar accompanied his uncle to the field where ploughing and land-levelling work was in progress. Someshwar was standing near the tractor, monitoring the operation, while his uncle had briefly stepped away for other tasks.
The incident highlights the dangers associated with agricultural machinery, especially when children are present near operating equipment. Local authorities have registered a case and are investigating the matter further.
