Sai Sudharsan played a magnificent innings, scoring an unbeaten 105 off just 62 balls, to guide Gujarat Titans (GT) to a formidable total of 205 for 3 against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The left-handed batsman's knock was studded with 10 boundaries and 4 sixes, as he anchored the innings with precision and power.
Sudharsan's Masterclass
The young opener displayed exceptional composure, pacing his innings perfectly. He reached his half-century off 38 balls and then accelerated, smashing 55 runs off the next 24 deliveries. His century came off the final ball of the innings, a fitting climax to a stellar performance.
GT's Strong Start
GT got off to a solid start, with Sudharsan and Shubman Gill adding 54 runs for the first wicket. Gill contributed 27 off 21 balls before falling to Josh Hazlewood. David Miller then chipped in with a quickfire 27 off 18 balls, while captain Hardik Pandya remained unbeaten on 10 off 9 balls.
RCB's Bowling Woes
RCB's bowlers struggled to contain Sudharsan, with only Wanindu Hasaranga (1 for 30) managing to pick up a wicket. Mohammed Siraj and Josh Hazlewood were expensive, conceding 42 and 38 runs respectively in their four overs.
