NEW DELHI: There were frightening scenes at the Arun Jaitley Stadium ahead of the IPL 2026 clash between Delhi Capitals and Punjab Kings. A net bowler sustained a serious injury after being struck during a practice session a day before the DC vs PBKS match.
Incident Details
According to a video that has gone viral on social media, the net bowler was attended to by medical staff at the stadium. An ambulance was called onto the ground, and he was placed on a stretcher before being taken to a hospital. The identity and further details of the net bowler are yet to be confirmed, and more information is awaited.

With three wins and three losses from six matches, Delhi Capitals are currently in the lower half of the table in sixth place.
