Krunal Pandya has put an end to speculation of a fallout with Nicholas Pooran after a viral video from the IPL 2026 match between Lucknow Super Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru sparked rumors. The incident occurred during the game at Lucknow's Ekana Stadium when Krunal bowled two sharp bouncers at Pooran. After taking a single, Pooran exchanged words with the RCB all-rounder at the non-striker's end, initially appearing as a typical heated IPL moment.
However, a fresh video surfaced online showing Pooran animatedly talking to Krunal after the match, grabbing him by the collar and pushing him away lightly. The clip went viral, with fans believing there was genuine tension between the former teammates. But Krunal quickly dismissed the rumors with a light-hearted Instagram post featuring a picture with Pooran.
“No lafda (no trouble), only love. Congrats to my bro @nicholaspooran on completing 100 IPL games. Proud of you, brother, many more to come. Btw, how was the bouncer?” Krunal wrote. Pooran responded in the comments, saying, “Only love here, guys. One of my best Mates.”
The two players know each other well from their time together at Lucknow Super Giants during IPL 2023 and 2024, which explains the playful nature of the exchange. In the match itself, LSG defeated RCB by nine runs via the DLS method after a brilliant century from Mitchell Marsh. Another major talking point was Prince Yadav bowling Virat Kohli for a duck early in the chase.
