Delhi Capitals (DC) kept their playoff hopes alive after a thrilling victory over Rajasthan Royals (RR) in match 62 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 on Sunday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi. Chasing a target of 194 runs, Ashutosh Sharma finished the match with a six as DC registered their sixth win of the season.

RCB now occupy the top spot with 18 points from 13 games, having won nine and lost four. For Punjab Kings, this was their sixth consecutive defeat, seriously damaging their qualification chances. PBKS remain at fourth place with 13 points from 13 matches, with six wins, six losses, and one no result.

Gujarat Titans (GT) hold second place with 16 points from 13 matches. Despite their five-match winning streak ending against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), they are well placed with eight wins, five defeats, and an NRR of +0.400. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) are third with 14 points from 12 matches, having won seven and lost five, with an NRR of +0.331. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) remain sixth with 12 points from 12 games, with six wins and six losses and an NRR of +0.027.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) are seventh with 11 points from 12 matches, with five wins, six defeats, and one no result, and an NRR of -0.038.
