In an exciting display of skill at the PAC ground in Kanpur on Monday, the Wonder Women Club emerged victorious over City Club by a margin of 23 runs in a KDMA cricket league encounter. The match was highlighted by an outstanding all-round performance from Priyanka Chaurasia, who played a pivotal role in her team's success.

Wonder Women Club posted a competitive total of 207 runs in 34.2 overs, setting a challenging target for City Club. Priyanka Chaurasia was the star of the innings, scoring a fine 71 runs. She received support from Kavya Bandoh and Shivangi Gupta, both contributing 22 runs each. The bowling attack for City Club saw Utkarsh and Anmol Singh each claiming 3 wickets for 36 runs, while Akash Kumar took 2 for 43.

The first Sunil Tiwari Memorial U-13 Inter-Academy Cricket League saw impressive performances from young talents. RVS Academy defeated KDMA by 10 wickets. KDMA was bowled out for 161 runs, with Amrit scoring 59 and Anirudh Singh 37. Harshvardhan Pant was the standout bowler with 4 for 18, and Devesh Kartik took 2 for 29. RVS Academy chased down the target without losing a wicket, thanks to Utkarsh Dwivedi (78 not out) and Krishna Yadav (76 not out).

At the Kanpur South ground, SBS Academy edged out Commercial Academy by 4 runs. SBS Academy posted 6 for 202, with Aryan Yadav (44) and Atharv Pandey (45) leading the way. In the Chandra Trophy T-20 cricket tournament, JD Club secured a comfortable 8-wicket win over YMCC Club at the Chandra Cricket ground. YMCC was restricted to 107 runs, with Rahul scoring 26. UP Table Tennis Coach Appointment

In other sports news, Satyam Mishra, a National Institute of Sports (NIS) certified coach, has been appointed as the coach of the Uttar Pradesh Table Tennis team for the upcoming 87th Junior and Youth National TT championship. Currently serving as a TT coach at the Sports Hub in Kanpur, Mishra has been directed by the UP Table Tennis Association to attend a mandatory state-level coaching camp in Bareilly from February 14 to 20. The national championship is scheduled to take place in Dehradun from February 22 to March 2, where the team will aim for top honors under his guidance.
