Tim David, who had struggled in his previous eight T20 innings with just 139 runs, delivered a stunning turnaround. The Australian all-rounder smashed an unbeaten 70 off only 25 balls, featuring three fours and eight sixes. His innings included a slice of luck when he was bowled off a no-ball by Anshul Kamboj on 28, but he capitalized fully, racing to a half-century in just 21 balls.
David found the perfect partner in skipper Rajat Patidar, who played a blistering knock of 48 not out from 19 deliveries, including one four and six sixes. Their unbroken 99-run stand came off a mere 37 balls, shifting gears dramatically in the final overs. The duo targeted bowlers like Noor Ahmad and Kamboj, with David particularly brutal in the 19th over, where he hammered Jamie Overton for 30 runs, including four sixes and a boundary.
