In a significant boost for local sports infrastructure, District Minister Satish Jarkiholi officially inaugurated a newly constructed indoor box cricket ground at the District Bal Bhavan in Srinagar, Belagavi. The facility, built at a substantial cost of Rs 40 lakh, aims to provide enhanced training opportunities for aspiring cricketers in the region.

Following the formal inauguration ceremony, Minister Satish Jarkiholi and Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar captured public attention by personally stepping onto the newly laid pitch. Minister Laxmi Hebbalkar highlighted the remarkable transformation of the Bal Bhavan building, which had previously fallen into a state of neglect. The facility has been completely revitalized into a contemporary indoor sports complex, featuring specialized cricket training amenities. Hebbalkar specifically credited Zilla Panchayat Chief Executive Officer Rahul Shinde for his proactive initiative and diligent execution in driving this development project to completion.
