MI Use 24th Player Raj Bawa in IPL 2026 vs LSG

Mumbai Indians introduced Raj Angad Bawa as their 24th player of IPL 2026 during their match against Lucknow Super Giants at Wankhede Stadium on Monday. This marks the highest number of players used by any side this season.

MI's Season Struggles

Mumbai Indians have won only two of their nine matches so far. A defeat against Lucknow Super Giants would end their campaign. This is not the first time MI have used 24 players in a season; they previously did so in IPL 2008 and 2012, finishing fifth and third respectively.

Hardik Pandya's Absence

Captain Hardik Pandya missed the match due to a back spasm. He has had a difficult season, scoring 146 runs in eight innings at an average of 20.85 and a strike rate of 136.44.
