Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced its sales figures for April 2026, marking the company's best-ever performance for the month. The automaker dispatched a total of 2,39,646 units during the period, with domestic sales reaching a new peak of 1,91,122 units. This represents a sharp growth of over 34 percent compared to April 2025.
Sales Breakdown
In addition to domestic sales, Maruti Suzuki supplied 8,470 units to other original equipment manufacturers (OEMs). Exports stood at 40,054 units, contributing to the overall strong performance.
Key Growth Drivers
The robust sales growth was fueled by new launches such as the Victoris, which was recently awarded the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY). Strong performers like the Dzire and Baleno also continued to attract customers. Maruti Suzuki's SUV sales reached an all-time high of over 50,000 units in April 2026, with models such as the Grand Vitara and Brezza maintaining strong demand.
The company's success in April underscores its dominant position in the Indian automotive market, driven by a combination of innovative new products and consistent performance from its established lineup.
