India's batting coach Sitanshu Kotak has strongly dismissed recent speculation about a communication breakdown within the Indian cricket team's leadership. Speaking in Rajkot, Kotak addressed rumors concerning senior batters Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli and head coach Gautam Gambhir.
Kotak Observes Constant Communication
Sitanshu Kotak made his position clear regarding the alleged communication issues. "I always see them talking," Kotak stated emphatically about Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli. He emphasized that both players maintain regular dialogue with the coaching staff and team management.
Experience Drives Natural Dialogue
The batting coach highlighted the natural flow of communication that comes with experience. "They are senior and experienced players," Kotak explained. "They have played so much international cricket. It becomes very natural for them to engage in conversations with the coach and captain."
Kotak directly contradicted reports of any communication gap. "I don't see any communication gap whatsoever," he asserted. The coach confirmed that planning sessions continue regularly with full participation from all senior players.
