ISPL Season 3: Rs 5.92 Cr Prize, Porsche Award Announced

The Indian Street Premier League (ISPL) has unveiled a spectacular prize package for its upcoming third season, setting a new benchmark for domestic tennis ball cricket tournaments in India. The league will feature a total prize pool of Rs 5.92 crore, with the championship clash scheduled to take place at the Lalbhai Contractor Stadium in Surat.

Massive Rewards and Schedule for ISPL 2026

The tournament is set to captivate fans from January 9 to February 6, 2026. Eight fiercely competitive teams will battle it out for the ultimate glory. The champion team will be rewarded with a whopping Rs 2 crore, while the runners-up will take home Rs 1 crore. In a move that elevates the league's prestige, the most outstanding player of the entire season will be awarded a Porsche 911 car, arguably one of the most valuable individual prizes in Indian sports.

In-Season Incentives and Fan Engagement

Beyond the title rewards, the ISPL has structured earnings to appreciate consistent performance. Each match's best player across the 44 games will earn Rs 50,000. The grand finale will see additional awards of Rs 2.5 lakh each for the best batting, bowling, and fielding performances. Demonstrating a unique fan-centric approach, the league will also reward spectators with Rs 20,000 per match.

Star-Studded Auction and Record Signing

The teams finalized their squads at a high-octane player auction held in Mumbai on December 9. The event saw franchises spending close to Rs 10 crore to secure talent. The auction created history as Vijay Pawle became the league's most expensive player ever, fetching a staggering Rs 32.50 lakh from the defending champions, Majhi Mumbai.

The other seven teams gearing up for the competition are Chennai Singams, Tiigers of Kolkata, Falcon Risers Hyderabad, Bengaluru Strikers, Srinagar Ke Veer, Ahmedabad Lions, and Delhi Superheros.

Grassroots Vision and Player Empowerment

The league's foundation is built on empowering grassroots cricketers. Suraj Samat, Core Committee Member and League Commissioner of ISPL, emphasized that the significant prize pool reflects their commitment to building a viable career path. "This structure allows players to dream bigger, earn through their skills and see grassroots cricket as a viable professional pathway," Samat stated. The record signing of Vijay Pawle underscores the tangible value and financial security the league aims to provide to undiscovered talent.

With its colossal prize money, luxury award, and focus on nurturing local heroes, ISPL Season 3 is poised to be a landmark event in India's sporting calendar, promising thrilling cricket and life-changing opportunities for players.
