VIZIANAGARAM: Four persons, including two pedestrians, lost their lives, and one individual sustained injuries when a speeding car struck pedestrians and collided with a stationary truck near Perapuram in Pusapatirega mandal of Vizianagaram district on Monday night.
Details of the Incident
According to police officials, the fatal road accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle due to excessive speed. Two pedestrians and one passenger inside the car died instantly at the scene. Another person in the car suffered severe injuries and succumbed while being transferred to a hospital.

Preliminary investigations revealed that four friends were traveling in the car from Srikakulam to Visakhapatnam. Police have identified one of the deceased as Srinivas, and efforts are underway to establish the identities of the remaining victims.
