At least 25 people sustained injuries after a bus overturned while attempting to avoid a collision with a car in Bihar's Katihar district early Saturday morning. The incident occurred on National Highway-13 near Zorabganj around 3 am, according to news agency PTI.

Police officials reported that the bus was en route to Cooch Behar district in West Bengal. Eyewitnesses stated that the bus overturned as the driver tried to steer clear of the car, which had lost control and collided with the bus.

Medical officer Vineet Kumar confirmed that the injured were taken to Kodha Primary Health Centre. While 10 individuals were in stable condition, 15 were in serious condition and were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) in Purnia for advanced treatment.
