Audi Q7 Launch July 2026: Triple Screens, ADAS, PHEV

Audi is gearing up to launch the next-generation Q7 in July 2026. The luxury SUV is expected to feature a revolutionary triple-screen setup, advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS), and plug-in hybrid powertrain options. This move positions the Q7 to compete directly with rivals like the BMW X5 and Mercedes-Benz GLE.

Design and Interior

The new Audi Q7 will adopt a bold design language, with a larger grille, sleek LED headlights, and a sculpted bonnet. Inside, the cabin will be dominated by a triple-screen display: a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, a 14.5-inch infotainment touchscreen, and a 10.9-inch passenger display. The layout is inspired by the Audi Q6 e-tron, offering a minimalist yet high-tech environment.

Premium materials such as leather, wood, and aluminum will be used throughout. The second-row seats will offer ample legroom, and a third row may be optional for seven-seater configurations. Ambient lighting and a panoramic sunroof will add to the luxurious feel.

Technology and Safety

Audi will equip the Q7 with Level 2+ ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, traffic jam assist, and automated parking. The infotainment system will run on Android Automotive OS, supporting over-the-air updates, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a premium Bang & Olufsen sound system.

Powertrain Options

The 2026 Q7 will offer multiple powertrains: a 3.0-liter V6 turbo petrol (335 hp), a 3.0-liter V6 diesel (282 hp), and a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) combining a 3.0-liter V6 with an electric motor for a total output of 455 hp. The PHEV variant will have an electric-only range of up to 100 km (WLTP). All variants will come with an 8-speed automatic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive.

Launch and Competition

The new Audi Q7 is scheduled to launch in India in July 2026, with prices expected to start around Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom). It will compete with the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz GLE, and Volvo XC90. The plug-in hybrid variant aims to attract eco-conscious luxury buyers.

With its advanced technology, luxurious interior, and electrified options, the Audi Q7 2026 is set to redefine the luxury SUV segment.
