Humidity and Monsoon Update

The relative humidity (RH) was 64% at 8.30am and 34% at 5.30pm. The IMD forecast for the state indicated that there will be no major change in the maximum temperatures for the next seven days. While the southwest monsoon has covered part of Maharashtra, the Met department forecast sees slim chances of the further progress of southwest monsoon in a couple of days. It is notable that the normal onset of southwest monsoon for Gujarat is around June 15.

Rainfall Outlook

The forecast indicated chances of light to moderate showers in parts of south Gujarat by the next week.
