The Badminton Championship organized under the banner of the Shaheed Major Sankalp Yadav Memorial Khel Mahakumbh-3 concluded successfully at the DMR Sports Academy in Jaipur. The event witnessed participation from more than 250 players hailing from Jaipur and its surrounding regions.
Inauguration Ceremony
The annual tournament was inaugurated by Surendra Yadav, father of Shaheed Major Sankalp Yadav, alongside Manish Yadav, the popular MLA of Shahpura. Both dignitaries encouraged the participants and emphasized the importance of sports in shaping the future of the youth.
Senior Men's Singles
In the senior men's singles category, Priyanshu Jain claimed the gold medal after defeating Kuldeep Singh in an exciting final match.
Under-15 Mixed Doubles
In the Under-15 mixed doubles section, the pair of Daksh Yadav and Saket emerged victorious after a closely contested summit clash.
Under-19 Mixed Doubles
Meanwhile, in the Under-19 mixed doubles final, Kuldeep Singh and Shanvi defeated Daksh and Aaradhya Sharma to secure the championship title.
Awards and Recognition
All winners and runners-up were honored with cash prizes, medals, and mementos for their outstanding performances. The guests were welcomed by Dinesh Kumar Yadav, Director of DMR Sports Academy, with traditional Rajasthani safas and mementos.
