The event saw Spartan Sports Academy girls and host DKM boys emerge as champions, capping off a thrilling tournament that highlighted the future stars of the sport.

Girls' Final: Spartan Denies DKM a Double Title

The girls' final was a closely contested, low-scoring affair where Spartan Sports Academy managed to secure a 10-6 victory over DKM. This win prevented the home team from achieving a double title triumph. Prisha Nagmote led the charge for Spartan with an impressive 7 points, while Punarvi Nakshine added 2 points to the tally. For DKM, Ovi Pande fought valiantly, scoring all 6 points for her team in a determined effort.

Boys' Final: DKM's Spectacular Comeback Secures Championship

In the boys' final, DKM delivered a stunning performance to outclass Pande Layout Sporting Club (PLSC) with a commanding 22-8 win. The match began with DKM trailing 2-6 after the first quarter, but they turned the tide dramatically in the second quarter, shutting out PLSC 6-0 to take a narrow 2-point lead at halftime. DKM continued their dominance in the second half, winning the third quarter 6-2 and the fourth quarter 8-0 to register an emphatic 14-point title victory.

Key contributors for DKM included Advik Waghmare, who scored a game-high 12 points, along with Chaitanya Godbole (6 points) and Agrim Karandikar (4 points), who netted timely baskets. For PLSC, Aarav Savarkar put up a resilient fight, scoring all 8 points in a lone battle effort.

In the girls' third-place match, Nagpur Amateur Sports Association (NASA) blanked Gurudeo Nagar Krida Mandal (GKM) 17-0, led by Ananya Patil's outstanding 17-point performance.

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Ashwini Jichkar, corporator and chairman of Public Works at Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC). The event was attended by notable figures including Anup Rajurkar, Ravindra Kulkarni, Jayant Jichkar, Samir Shrivastava, Prashant Sonewane, Mahesh Gaharwar, and Dhiraj Kadao, among others. Trophies were distributed to all semifinalists, and players from both the winning and runner-up teams received kit bags as recognition for their efforts.
