Envision Racing Announces Ella Lloyd for Madrid Rookie Test
Following Porsche's recent announcement, Envision Racing has now confirmed their rookie driver for the upcoming Formula E Madrid Rookie Test scheduled for March 22. The team has selected McLaren development driver Ella Lloyd to take the wheel, marking her second rookie test appearance with Envision Racing.
Lloyd's Impressive Racing Background
Twenty-year-old British driver Ella Lloyd brings substantial experience to the Madrid test. She has previously driven a Formula E car on three occasions and demonstrated her capabilities during last year's Women's Test in Valencia. Lloyd finished fourth in the competitive F1 Academy championship last year and has an impressive track record that includes:
- Vice-champion title in the 2023 Ginetta GT Championship
- Winner of the Female Driver Trophy in the Formula Winter Series
- Multiple top-three finishes in British F4
