Portuguese racing driver Antonio Felix da Costa has finally broken through with his first win for Jaguar TCS Racing, achieving this milestone in Round 5 of the Formula E season at the Jeddah E-Prix. The 34-year-old driver, who made the switch from Porsche after a strong performance in Season 11, expressed a deep sense of accomplishment and feeling settled with his new team after five races.

Da Costa opened up about the difficulties of changing teams in the competitive world of Formula E. "Changing teams is hard. It's very hard getting to know a new car, new people, everything," he admitted. "And it took me five races to win with Jaguar and, to be honest, in a way I feel like we could have done it earlier. But to do it in just five races, that's a big achievement."

"When you join a team as successful as Jaguar TCS Racing and with me being a previous champion and an ambitious athlete, this is always the goal, right? Da Costa also praised his teammate Mitch Evans, who secured a victory in Miami and finished third in the first race of the Jeddah doubleheader. "To have Mitch as a teammate has been really good. He's been really, really good, and we're helping each other," da Costa explained. "Today in the race, he let me go when I was on Attack Mode, and that was just awesome. We're building a really good dynamic together and yeah, hopefully it keeps going and hopefully both of us can be there at the end."
