In the women's basketball arena, the Panjab University team, powered by its Ludhiana contingent, fought its way to the podium.

The bronze medal victory was spearheaded by five determined athletes, all students of Khalsa College for Women (KCW) in Ludhiana. The team's success was built on the skills and teamwork of Nandini, Kamalpreet Kaur, Chanda, Nadar Kaur Dhillon, and Bhumika. In a thrilling match for third place, the Panjab University squad demonstrated remarkable grit to defeat Christ University Bangalore with a score of 55-47, clinching the bronze.
