Yogi Adityanath Stresses Discipline at Scouts Jamboree

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath delivered a powerful message about the importance of discipline in shaping India's future during the closing ceremony of the 19th National Jamboree of Bharat Scouts and Guides in Lucknow on Friday. The event, which marked the return of the national gathering to Uttar Pradesh after 61 years, showcased the immense potential of India's youth.

A Gathering of Youthful Energy

The five-day event transformed Lucknow into a hub of youthful enthusiasm, with participants from across India and several other countries. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath described the atmosphere as reminiscent of the Prayagraj Maha Kumbh, which had earlier in 2025 attracted 66 crore devotees from around the world.

"The 19th National Jamboree represented the vibrant energy of young people who are the future of India," the CM stated. He emphasized that the event served as a 'Maha Kumbh of youth energy,' where thousands of young minds aspiring to bring positive change came together under one banner.

Discipline as Foundation for National Progress

Addressing the gathering, CM Yogi stressed that discipline is the foundation of life and crucial for national development. "Only disciplined youth can take the nation to new heights with unwavering courage," he remarked, highlighting how the Jamboree demonstrated the values of discipline, patience, and teamwork.

The theme of the event, 'Developed India – Developed Youth,' aligned perfectly with Prime Minister Narendra Modi's vision. Through initiatives like 'Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat' conducted during the Jamboree, participants actively contributed to advancing this national mission.

Distinguished Presence and Global Message

The closing ceremony witnessed the presence of several dignitaries including Governor Anandiben Patel, Mizoram Chief Minister Lalduhoma, Uttar Pradesh deputy chief ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, along with senior officials from Bharat Scouts and Guides.

CM Yogi congratulated all participants and organizers for the successful event and urged everyone, including international participants, to carry forward the memories and spirit of the Jamboree to their respective regions. He emphasized that the event's true success would be measured by how effectively it advanced the vision of global brotherhood and India's development.

The Chief Minister noted that over the five days, Lucknow had witnessed the remarkable discipline, patience, and immense potential of India's youth, united by the spirit of peace, harmony, and global brotherhood that defined the Jamboree experience.
