Swatantra Dev Singh, the Station House Officer (SHO) of Turkapatti police station, provided further insights. "She said she was in a relationship with the accused for about two years and was two months pregnant. The accused was pressuring her to undergo an abortion," he stated, underscoring the motive behind the violent act.

The woman had traveled to Kushinagar to work with an orchestra group, where she initially met Amjad. On the day of the incident, Amjad was allegedly transporting her to Fazilnagar in a car with the intent of forcing an abortion. When she resisted his demands, he assaulted her and forcibly ejected her from the moving vehicle near Madhuriya Inter College, within the jurisdiction of the Turkapatti police station.
Fortunately, the victim did not sustain any serious injuries from the fall. Authorities have since taken Amjad Ali into custody for questioning.
