UP BJP Chief Pankaj Chaudhary Sets 2027 Election Goal for Party Workers
Uttar Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Pankaj Chaudhary delivered a clear message to party functionaries on Thursday. He urged every worker to engage with the public through direct contact, open communication, and dedicated service. The ultimate aim is to secure a more significant victory in the 2027 state assembly elections.
Call for a Historic Victory Beyond 2017
Addressing members from various frontal wings at the party's state office in Lucknow, Chaudhary outlined ambitious targets. "We must begin our work now with the objective of achieving a victory more historic than the one in 2017," he stated emphatically. He emphasized that each party worker holds a crucial duty. They must execute their organizational responsibilities with unwavering honesty, strict discipline, and complete dedication.
Countering Opposition and Strengthening Outreach
Chaudhary criticized opposition parties, claiming they lack a constructive agenda. "They attempt to mislead the public using lies, creating confusion, and spreading misinformation," he alleged. He instructed BJP workers to actively counter these tactics. Their role is to expose every falsehood with verifiable facts and the truth.
The BJP chief highlighted the vital function of the party's frontal wings and specialized cells. He described them as decisive forces in disseminating the party's ideology across different societal segments and geographical regions. "These wings connect people from diverse social sectors and classes to the party, which in turn strengthens our entire organization," Chaudhary explained.
Specific Tasks and Praise for State Government
He assigned a specific task to the frontal wing leaders. They should play an active role in the Systematic Voters' Education and Electoral Participation (SIR) exercise. Their focus must be on ensuring left-out voters are successfully added to the electoral rolls.
Chaudhary also praised the current state administration led by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He asserted that the UP government has established new benchmarks in several key areas. These include maintaining law and order, delivering good governance, developing infrastructure, and implementing welfare schemes for the poor.
"Today, Uttar Pradesh ranks among the leading states in the country," he said. "This remarkable transformation is a direct result of the BJP government's effective policies and its strong political will."
Organizational Strength and Worker Discipline
Echoing these sentiments, the party's state general secretary for organization, Dharmpal Singh, addressed the gathering. He reinforced that the BJP is fundamentally an organization built on its workers and driven by its core ideology.
Singh identified the party's greatest asset as its cadre of disciplined, dedicated, and well-trained workers. These individuals stand firmly with the organization through all circumstances. "Our workers must continuously work to strengthen public trust," he advised. "This is achieved through persistent contact with people, clear communication, and genuine service."
The meeting served as a strategic briefing to galvanize the party's grassroots machinery ahead of the crucial 2027 electoral battle.
