In a significant strategic move designed to foster grassroots participation, the United Democratic Front (UDF) has officially opened its doors to the general public, inviting citizens to actively contribute to the formulation of its manifesto for the upcoming Kerala Legislative Assembly elections. This landmark decision was formally ratified during the inaugural session of the UDF's manifesto committee, which convened on Friday, clearly signaling the opposition coalition's determined intent to construct a genuinely "people-centric" political platform.
Structured Regional Consultations Announced
The manifesto committee, under the leadership of its appointed chairman, Benny Behanan, has meticulously outlined an extensive and comprehensive schedule for regional public consultations. This initiative is strategically planned to gather a wide array of diverse perspectives and inputs from citizens across the entire state of Kerala. To facilitate this, the UDF will host specialized zonal meetings in three major regional hubs:
- Thiruvananthapuram: Scheduled for February 25
