Two Women Killed, Five Injured in Taxi Plunge into Gorge in Uttarakhand's Bageshwar
A tragic accident in Uttarakhand's Bageshwar district has resulted in the deaths of two women and left five others injured after the taxi they were travelling in skidded off the road and plunged approximately 100 metres into a deep gorge. The two women who lost their lives in this devastating crash have been identified as Panuli Devi, aged 60, and Supli Devi, aged 68. Their bodies were recovered from the gorge by a team from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), who worked diligently at the scene. After recovery, the bodies were formally handed over to the police for further procedures and to notify the families.
