Thieves steal Rs 41 lakh from Sikar house

In a daring heist, thieves made off with jewellery valued at Rs 36 lakh and Rs 5 lakh in cash from a residence in the Gokulpura police station area of Sikar on Monday night. The incident occurred while the family members were sleeping in the courtyard of the house.

How the burglary took place

The burglars gained entry by cutting through the window mesh. The family only discovered the theft when they woke up in the morning. Sanjay Kumar Jat, a resident of Khichdon Ka Bas in the Gokulpura police station area, filed a report stating that he and his family were sleeping in the courtyard on Monday night.

When they awoke at around 6:15 am, they found the rooms of the house locked from inside. Upon checking the backside of the house, they noticed that the window had been cut. They then sent their son inside through the window to unlock the gate. Once inside, they found the belongings scattered across the rooms.
