The official notification, issued by Tamil Nadu Lok Bhavan, detailed the assignment of portfolios to 10 ministers, with Vijay retaining several key departments including public administration, police, women welfare, and youth development. In a significant move, he also created a separate sports development ministry, marking a departure from the previous DMK government structure.
Key Portfolio Allocations
Aadhav Arjuna was allocated the public works and sports development departments, while N Anand received the rural development portfolio. K A Sengottaiyan was appointed as the finance minister, and K G Arunraj was given the health portfolio. The cabinet formation reflects the party's focus on youth and sports, alongside traditional governance areas.
