CM Stalin Urges DMK to Ensure Full Voter Inclusion in SIR Drive
Stalin Directs DMK to Leave No Voter Out in SIR

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M.K. Stalin has issued a crucial directive to his party members, emphasizing the need to ensure that no eligible voter is left behind during the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral roll. The instruction was delivered in his capacity as the president of the Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK).

Addressing Gaps in Voter Awareness

Stalin highlighted a significant challenge observed during the revision process. He pointed out that at many locations, citizens reported that even polling officials, including the crucial Booth Level Officers (BLOs), did not fully comprehend the procedures of the Special Intensive Revision. This knowledge gap among frontline officials could potentially lead to the exclusion of legitimate voters from the list.

A Call to Action for Party Cadres

In response to these concerns, the CM has tasked DMK party workers with a proactive role. They are expected to bridge the information gap and assist the public in navigating the SIR process. The objective is clear: to achieve maximum voter enrollment and guarantee that every single eligible citizen is registered to exercise their democratic right. This move underscores the administration's commitment to inclusive and comprehensive electoral participation.

The directive, issued on November 9, 2025, places the responsibility on the party cadre to work alongside the election machinery to facilitate a smooth and error-free revision.
