He urged the residents of Chittapur to extend their blessings not only to him but also to Priyank Kharge and MP Radhakrishna Doddamani, underscoring the importance of community support in governance.

Legacy of Mallikarjun Kharge and Development Initiatives

Drawing a vivid analogy, Shivakumar stated, "Faith is as important to a man as the root is to a tree." He credited Mallikarjun Kharge's extensive work and achievements for laying a solid foundation that will benefit future generations, noting that Kharge's contributions to the lives of people in Kalyana Karnataka are widely recognized across India.

During the event, Shivakumar announced several significant development projects. Approximately 2,000 houses were distributed to the people of Chittapur by the sewage board, marking a step toward improved living conditions. Additionally, the government is actively working to rejuvenate more than 400 lakes across the state, which is expected to enhance irrigation capabilities and support agricultural sustainability.

Educational and Employment Advancements

In a major push for education, Shivakumar revealed plans to establish 2,000 Karnataka Public Schools statewide, with 330 of these schools slated for the Kalyana Karnataka region. This initiative aims to bolster educational infrastructure and access in underserved areas.

On the employment front, the government is committed to filling 2.5 lakh vacancies in the public sector through a phased approach. Shivakumar confirmed that initial steps have already been taken to address over 50,000 of these positions, signaling progress in job creation and public service enhancement.

Commitment to Welfare Through Guarantee Schemes

Shivakumar highlighted the government's dedication to citizen welfare, noting that more than Rs 52,000 crore is allocated annually for various guarantee schemes designed to ensure a comfortable life for the people of Karnataka. He reiterated that this financial commitment is a core duty of the government, reflecting its focus on social and economic support.

The ceremony in Kalaburagi served as a platform to showcase ongoing and future development efforts, with Shivakumar's praise for Priyank Kharge underscoring the collaborative spirit within the administration. These announcements align with broader goals to improve infrastructure, education, employment, and quality of life across the state.
