Details of the Fatal Collision
K Gopakumar, the 58-year-old chief photographer of the Malayalam daily Chandrika, was killed when the scooter he was riding collided with a Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) bus. The accident occurred at Karakkamandapam around 9:50 am in front of the Al Saj Auditorium.
According to the Nemom police, Gopakumar, a resident of Nemom, was on his way to his office.
