Officials from the Sindhi Camp bus stand, a major RSRTC terminal in the Pink City, stated that the unfortunate event occurred around 3:15 pm on Monday. The incident took place in the parking area of the bus stand when a bus was in the process of reversing. Preliminary reports indicate that the conductor was not on duty at the time of the accident.

Rakesh Rai, the Chief Manager of the Sindhi Camp bus terminal, addressed the media regarding the incident. He described it as an unfortunate accident and outlined the steps taken by the authorities. "After we learnt about the incident, we immediately informed the local police, who lodged a complaint," stated Rai.
