Acharya made her remarks shortly after Tejashwi Yadav convened a review meeting. As the Leader of Opposition in the state assembly, Tejashwi met with the party's Members of Parliament. The meeting lasted nearly two hours at his official residence on 1 Polo Road. A Rajya Sabha MP considered a close aide of Tejashwi also attended this gathering.
Taking a clear jab at this lengthy meeting, Acharya expressed her frustration on social media platform X. She argued that introspection and accountability should come before such review exercises. "Instead of doing the show-off of review meetings, it is more important to do self-introspection and take responsibility," Acharya wrote in her post. She emphasized that these meetings would only become meaningful when the leadership demonstrates courage. Specifically, she called for removing the "vultures sitting around."
Insiders within the RJD revealed that Acharya's post was aimed directly at Tejashwi's close aide. She concluded her message by stating that the public already understands everything. "The rest was already known to the public and the public understands everything," she added confidently.
