Rohini Acharya Slams 'Vultures' Around Brother Tejashwi, Demands Accountability
Rohini Acharya Slams 'Vultures' Around Brother Tejashwi

Rohini Acharya Launches Scathing Attack on Tejashwi Yadav's Inner Circle

Patna witnessed fresh political turmoil on Friday as Rohini Acharya, daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad, unleashed a sharp verbal assault. She targeted a select group of individuals surrounding her brother, Tejashwi Prasad Yadav. Acharya branded these people as "vultures" in a bold public statement. She directly challenged Tejashwi to take responsibility for the party's disappointing performance in the recent assembly elections.

Social Media Post Follows Review Meeting

Acharya made her remarks shortly after Tejashwi Yadav convened a review meeting. As the Leader of Opposition in the state assembly, Tejashwi met with the party's Members of Parliament. The meeting lasted nearly two hours at his official residence on 1 Polo Road. A Rajya Sabha MP considered a close aide of Tejashwi also attended this gathering.

Taking a clear jab at this lengthy meeting, Acharya expressed her frustration on social media platform X. She argued that introspection and accountability should come before such review exercises. "Instead of doing the show-off of review meetings, it is more important to do self-introspection and take responsibility," Acharya wrote in her post. She emphasized that these meetings would only become meaningful when the leadership demonstrates courage. Specifically, she called for removing the "vultures sitting around."

Insiders within the RJD revealed that Acharya's post was aimed directly at Tejashwi's close aide. She concluded her message by stating that the public already understands everything. "The rest was already known to the public and the public understands everything," she added confidently.

History of Public Criticism

This incident marks another chapter in Acharya's ongoing public criticism of her brother and his associates. She has repeatedly blamed certain leaders for the party's declining fortunes on previous occasions. Just last week, she used social media to criticize what she described as "new people" who had grown close to Tejashwi. Acharya accused these individuals of damaging the political legacy carefully built by her father, Lalu Prasad.

In November last year, Acharya made headlines while leaving her parents' residence. With visible emotion and tears in her eyes, she blamed two party leaders for the family feud and the party's failures. During that emotional moment, she announced her decision to quit politics. She also declared her intention to distance herself from her family, signaling deep internal rifts.

The latest attack underscores persistent tensions within the RJD's first family. Acharya's bold language and direct challenges highlight ongoing struggles over leadership and direction. Her use of the term "vultures" paints a vivid picture of her perception about those influencing Tejashwi. This public airing of grievances continues to keep the party's internal dynamics in the spotlight, affecting its political narrative in Bihar.
