Former Rajasthan chief minister Vasundhara Raje made significant remarks on Sunday during a public event in Baran district. She addressed the inauguration ceremony for the newly constructed first floor of Adarsh Vidya Mandir in Chhabra.
Hindutva as the Foundation
Raje clearly stated that Hindutva forms the essential ideological foundation for building the nation. She emphasized this point while speaking to the gathered audience.
RSS: More Than an Organization
The former chief minister described the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as something much greater than just an organization. She called it a "school of life" that actively nurtures both patriotism and strong character in individuals.
Raje explained that the RSS plays a crucial role in shaping disciplined and committed citizens who remain devoted to the nation. She highlighted how this influence extends through various affiliated institutions.
Vidya Bharati's Educational Mission
Turning to educational efforts, Raje discussed institutions affiliated with Vidya Bharati. She said these organizations aim to create educated, skilled, and value-driven individuals who remain firmly rooted in Indian culture.
"Vidya Bharati is working to educate children from economically weaker sections and make them self-reliant," Raje stated. She provided concrete numbers, revealing that over 33 lakh students currently study in educational institutions run by the organization across India.
Beyond Academic Education
The former chief minister clarified that Vidya Bharati's core objective extends far beyond mere academic education. She emphasized the equal importance of inculcating cultural, moral, and social values in students.
"This organization is preparing a patriotic and value-based generation for the country," Raje declared with conviction.
Encouragement for Girl Students
Addressing girl students specifically, Raje offered strong encouragement. She urged them to aim high and actively pursue leadership roles in their futures.
"If Vasundhara Raje can become chief minister, why can't you?" she asked the young women directly. She pointed to inspiring examples like former President Pratibha Patil and current President Droupadi Murmu.
Raje said their remarkable journeys should inspire all young girls, including students at Adarsh Vidya Mandir in Chhabra, to aspire to the highest offices in the land.
