Pankaja Munde Addresses Election Defeats and Political Conspiracies
In a pointed address that has stirred political circles, BJP leader and minister Pankaja Munde took a firm stance against those she alleges conspired against her, stating that nature has taken its own course against them. Speaking at the inauguration of her contact office in Ambajogai city, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, on Sunday, Munde reflected on her recent electoral setbacks and the political dynamics surrounding them.
Reflections on Defeat and Disappearance of Conspirators
Munde's comments have drawn significant attention, particularly in light of allegations that her losses in the last Lok Sabha elections to NCP (SP) candidate Bajrang Sonawane and the previous assembly elections to her cousin and NCP MLA Dhananjay Munde were fueled by internal party bickering and lack of support from certain loyalists, including members associated with the Munde family. "Politics has both good and bad people," she remarked, adding, "Some left us after using our support to get elected and then aligned elsewhere. Let them do what they want. Show me where those who plotted against me are today."
Maintaining a philosophical outlook, Munde emphasized that she holds no ill will, stating, "There is no sin in my heart. I have God's blessings. In politics, ups and downs are natural. I may have lost, but those who engineered it eventually vanished. I don't have to act against them — nature does." This statement underscores her belief in karmic justice within the political arena.
Call for Steadfastness and Ethical Conduct
Addressing party workers, Munde urged them to remain resolute, declaring, "You are my strength and all powers stand behind those who work with honesty." She also expressed strong confidence in her party's future prospects, predicting that the BJP would secure all six assembly constituencies in the district along with the parliamentary seat in 2029. "We are beginning this strategy in the presence of Goddess Yogeshwari. Success or failure depends on God, but I am committed to fulfilling my dream," she affirmed.
In a clear message against corruption, Munde cautioned workers against expecting unethical favors, referencing Prime Minister Narendra Modi's stance. "Those who earn money through wrong means or indulge in fraud belong in jail. Do not expect such things from me," she asserted. She drew a firm line between genuine need and wrongdoing, pledging personal sacrifice for workers in true distress, such as those battling serious illnesses like cancer, while refusing support for any involvement in fraud.
Emphasis on Honest Earnings and Family Accountability
Illustrating her point, Munde cited an instance where a worker sought help after his son allegedly cheated people of Rs 40–50 lakh. "If you have used such money, how can I repay it? Families must question the source of income. Earn honestly and turn Rs 10 into Rs 100 through hard work," she advised, reinforcing her commitment to ethical practices and personal integrity in political life.
This address not only highlights Munde's resilience in the face of political challenges but also sets a tone for her future approach, blending spiritual faith with a strict adherence to honesty and accountability in public service.
