Nashik Municipal Corporation Finalizes Vote Counting Arrangements

The Nashik Municipal Corporation has completed all preparations for the crucial vote counting process scheduled for Friday. Teams are now in position across the city to ensure a smooth and transparent operation.

Counting Centers and Officer Deployment

NMC has established ten counting centers spread over nine different locations throughout Nashik. The corporation appointed ten returning officers to supervise the entire process. Each officer will manage three wards, with one exception where an officer handles four wards.

Counting activities will commence at 10 am sharp on Friday. Election officials expect initial trends to become visible by noon, giving citizens their first indication of the results.

Security and Facility Arrangements

The election department of NMC has implemented comprehensive security measures at all counting locations. They have also ensured adequate facilities are available to maintain complete transparency throughout the counting process.

Laxmikant Satalkar, deputy commissioner of the election department, provided details about the counting methodology.
