In a related development, police officials in south Mizoram's Lunglei town seized a significant quantity of fuel on Saturday. At the Mizofed filling station, authorities confiscated 1,600 litres of petrol and 400 litres of diesel while they were being loaded into trucks in oil drums. The alleged intention was to transport these supplies to Myanmar, highlighting ongoing efforts to combat illegal diversion and smuggling activities.
