Lokesh demands apology from Jagan over DSC claims

Vijayawada: HRD and IT minister Nara Lokesh has demanded an unconditional apology from YSRCP chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy to the youth, alleging that the opposition party’s claims over the DSC recruitment process had collapsed after being disproved by facts and legal proceedings.

Reacting through a post on X, Lokesh said the allegations made by Jagan Mohan Reddy against the DSC recruitment process had been rejected and that the courts had also dismissed the challenges raised over the issue. He said the developments had vindicated the govt’s stand that the recruitment process was conducted transparently.

“Jagan Mohan Reddy’s false narrative has now been completely exposed. Every allegation he made has been disproven with facts and data. The courts have also dismissed these claims, reaffirming what we have maintained from the very beginning,” Lokesh said.

The minister said the DSC recruitment process had now received validation and the govt’s focus was on creating employment opportunities for thousands of aspiring teachers and strengthening the education sector. Lokesh alleged that the YSRCP leadership had misled candidates and created unnecessary anxiety among lakhs of DSC aspirants through a campaign of misinformation.

He said those responsible for spreading doubts over the recruitment process should apologise to the youth of the state. “After misleading candidates and causing unnecessary anxiety among lakhs of aspirants, Jagan Mohan Reddy should apologise to the youth of Andhra Pradesh,” he said.
