Social activist turned politician Lakha Sidhana officially joined the Akali Dal Waris Punjab De on Wednesday. The party held a significant rally in Muktsar Sahib to welcome him.

Surprise Appearance by MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali

MLA Manpreet Singh Ayali also attended the rally, surprising many attendees. Ayali is currently a member of the Shiromani Akali Dal (Punar Surjit). His presence added an unexpected element to the event.

Announcement of Bandi Chhor Khalsa Vahir Procession

During the rally, organizers announced a Bandi Chhor Khalsa Vahir procession. This procession will take place on February 25. It will start from Akal Takht Sahib and proceed to Takht Sri Damdama Sahib in Sabo Ki Talwandi.

Tarsem Singh, father of Khadoor Sahib MP Amritpal Singh, explained the purpose of the procession. He stated it aims to strengthen Gurmat principles and promote Panthic unity. The event will also emphasize the welfare of all people, known as Sarbat da Bhala.

Singh further noted that the procession will follow the path shown by the Gurus. It will deliver a message about protecting truth, justice, and righteousness. Additionally, it will serve as a voice against injustice, oppression, and social evils affecting the Panth and Punjab.

Massive Protest March Scheduled for February 10

The rally also featured a major announcement regarding a protest march. Akali Dal Waris Punjab De will organize a massive protest march on February 10. This march will protest what the party calls the illegal imposition of the National Security Act (NSA) on Amritpal Singh Khalsa.

Party leaders stated the march will press for the release of Sikh prisoners. They argue that the NSA application is unjust and demands immediate action.
