Shivamogga: School Education Minister Madhu Bangarappa on Wednesday disclosed that he has been summoned to the Chief Minister's breakfast meeting scheduled for Thursday in Bengaluru. Speaking to reporters in Shivamogga, the minister emphasized that certain decisions are made exclusively by the high command, and all party members must adhere to their directives.
Minister's Stance on Party Discipline
Bangarappa reiterated his consistent position on following the party leadership. "I have maintained this stance from the beginning. As ministers, we operate under clear limitations. In fluid situations like these, navigating the circumstances and knowing how to conduct oneself is what matters most," he stated. His remarks come amid ongoing political churning within the state government.
Educational Calendar Unaffected
The minister sought to reassure the public that the state's educational calendar remains on track despite the political developments. He confirmed that the initial reopening of school processes will commence on May 29, with all schools expected to formally reopen on June 1 as per the original schedule. This announcement aims to allay concerns among parents and educators regarding potential disruptions.
Bangarappa's attendance at the breakfast meeting is seen as part of broader efforts to address internal party dynamics and ensure stability in the government. The meeting is likely to discuss key policy matters and the way forward for the state administration.
