JP Nadda to inaugurate BJP's new Shimla office on Dec 13

Bharatiya Janata Party's national president and Union Health Minister, Jagat Prakash Nadda, is set for a significant two-day visit to Himachal Pradesh's capital. The visit, scheduled for December 12 and 13, will be marked by a key political event: the laying of the foundation stone for the party's new state office.

A Modern Headquarters for BJP in the Hills

The proposed site for the new BJP state office is located on Jubberhatti road in Shimla. According to party insiders, the plot spans an impressive 13 to 14 bighas of land. Plans are underway to develop a modern and expansive office complex on this site, a move seen as a concrete reflection of the BJP's growing organizational footprint and ambition in the hill state.

Foundation Ceremony and Major Public Rally

The central event of Nadda's visit will be the foundation stone-laying ceremony on December 13. Following this, the BJP president will head to Peterhoff in Shimla to address a large public rally. Party leaders have indicated that extensive organizational preparations are being made to ensure massive participation.

The party aims to match the scale of its previous successful rally in Kangra-Dharamshala. To achieve this, mobilization efforts are in full swing across the state's organizational units. Reports suggest that each mandal is expected to bring around 1,000 workers to the event, while smaller assembly constituencies will contribute approximately 500 participants each. BJP workers from all assembly constituencies in Himachal Pradesh are expected to attend.

Strategic Significance of the Visit

Party leaders believe that JP Nadda's visit carries substantial weight beyond the immediate events. They view it as a crucial step to strengthen the party's organizational structure at the grassroots level in Himachal Pradesh. Furthermore, the visit and the high-profile events are anticipated to play a key role in shaping the upcoming political developments in the state, setting the tone for the BJP's strategy and outreach.

The construction of a large, dedicated state office is seen as a long-term investment, signaling the party's commitment to consolidating its presence and preparing for future electoral battles in the region.
