Jharkhand Launches Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar From Nov 21
Jharkhand's Doorstep Govt Scheme Starts Nov 21

The Jharkhand government is set to launch its ambitious annual public outreach program, Aapki Yojana-Aapki Sarkar Aapke Dwar, later this week, following the recent Statehood Day celebrations. The campaign will run from November 21 to December 15, marking a significant expansion in its reach.

Panchayat-Level Camps: A First for Jharkhand

In a groundbreaking move, this year's program will establish camps at the panchayat level for the first time, bringing government services closer to rural communities. District administrations across Jharkhand have begun intensive preparations following directives from Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar.

Ministers and senior officials will personally attend these grassroots camps to address public grievances and facilitate enrollment in various social welfare schemes. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between citizens and government services directly at their doorstep.

Priority on Welfare Scheme Enrollment

Chief Secretary Kumar has emphasized that connecting eligible beneficiaries with government welfare programs will be the cornerstone of this year's campaign. In his official communication to district officials, Kumar outlined several focus areas including caste, residential and income certificates, Abua Health Security Scheme, Kisan Credit Card, various pension schemes, CM employment generation scheme, Birsa Harit Gram Yojana, Green Ration Card, Birsa Irrigation Well Enhancement Scheme, Guruji Student Credit Card, and Maiyan Samman Yojana.

Deputy commissioners have been instructed to strategically plan camp locations and ensure widespread publicity to maximize public participation. The government has mandated that application forms for these schemes will be processed on a priority basis during the campaign period.

Direct Public Engagement by Leadership

Chief Minister Hemant Soren is scheduled to personally attend multiple camps throughout the program duration, engaging directly with citizens and addressing their concerns for immediate action. While the final schedule for the CM and other ministers is still being finalized, officials confirmed Soren's active participation.

Senior government officials at both state and district levels are required to regularly attend these camps according to a predetermined roster. Beyond grievance resolution, the camps will feature distribution of assets to beneficiaries, foundation stone laying ceremonies for key projects, and inaugurations of completed initiatives in respective areas.

An official from the state IPRD department highlighted that while focus areas have been identified, issues beyond these predetermined categories will also be addressed during the public interaction sessions, ensuring comprehensive problem-solving for Jharkhand's residents.
